The Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana tells the story of Miley Stewart, who is an out-of-water Tennessee high school girl; relocated to Malibu.  By day, Miley deals with the day-to-day issues any relocated high school girl deals with; however, by night, Miley transforms herself into sugar pop superstar Hannah Montana.  Miley keeps her Hannah Montana identity secret from everybody except her close friends and family.

Hannah/Miley lives in her Malibu beach house with her dad, Robby Ray (played by Miley’s real-life father, Billy Ray Cyrus) and her brother Jackson.  Only a handful of people know about the Hannah Montana/Miley Stewart secret, including her friends Lilly and Oliver; her family; and her bodyguard Roxy.

Sadly, Miley’s mother passed away before the show began, leaving her father Robby, a famous country singer, as the primary caregiver for Miley and Jackson.  Robby also has a secret identity, playing Hannah’s father and manager.  The TV show, as well as Hannah’s music career is a runaway success, boasting an extensive fanbase of children and parents alike.  Hannah’s music continues the tradition of sugary pop songs and ballads, which is a big hit with her fans.
